The Entrepreneur's Prayer

Dear God,

Give me the wisdom to understand what is right, just and fair and to know the right course of action to take when decisions have to be made.

Let wisdom, knowledge and peace enter my heart and fill me with joy.

Anoint me with the ability to plan wisely with understanding, and keep me safe and protected during difficult times.

Thank you for your blood and favour upon my life, my family and my business.

To the Glory of your Name - Jesus Christ.

AMEN

CONFIDENCE: THE INNER POWER OF GODLY WISDOM

“O Sovereign Lord,” I said, “I can’t speak for you! I’m too young!”
“Don’t say that.” The Lord replied, “For you must go wherever I send you and say whatever I tell you. Don’t be afraid of the people, for I will be with you and take care of you. I, the Lord, have spoken!” (Jeremiah 1: 6-8)

Often people struggle with new challenges because they lack self-confidence, feeling that they have inadequate abilities, training or experience. Jeremiah thought he was “too young” and inexperienced to be God’s voice to His world. We should not allow our feelings of inadequacy keep us from obeying God but rather develop our confidence in the Word so that we have the knowing that God is omnipresent in our lives. If God gives you a job to do, He will provide all you need to do it.

EXCELLENCE IN THE WORKPLACE

INTRODUCTION:

Do you want to stay where you are? It’s your choice! It takes action to change, to make things different in your life. If you don’t do something to accelerate who you are, you’ll never go anywhere. If you just sit around and wait for God to do something for you, nothing will ever be any different.

From every direction imaginable, the world is teaching this modern generation to stay mediocre in life. People are being told that they are victims; that they are the way they are because of someone else; that they should be paid a wage just because they show up for work. The quality of their work doesn’t matter. Their personal integrity doesn’t matter!

GET EVERYTHING YOU SO DESIRE

You can get everything faster than you ever dreamed but it does take God and goals.

The eternal “AHHH” – A cerebral palsy with a delightful wit once said; God is preparing me for heaven…I am in His oven, so to speak. I am being baked for an eternal purpose. I am not finished yet. When I die and stand before Him, He is going to say, ‘well done.’”

During this article I am going to guide you through some essential steps God gave me to prepare myself for something very important to Him and me. I reached my dream quicker and I believe easier as I set goals and deadlines and then had to practice ‘faith, rest and obedience’ in Him.

PASSION EXCELLING SUCCESS

My Father was excellent example to me showing passion and commitment in everything he endeavoured even though he was handicapped physically and scholastically. When Dad was 15 years old he had to quit school and became a diamond driller in South Africa to support the family, and at 19 years of age he lost one of his eyes in an accident. Despite these two things Dad was unstoppable in anything he put his hand to do.

It was this spirit of determination and tenacity to see each job through to completion that led him into the world of business and he was very successful in whatever he started. It was this atmosphere that I was born into and was captivated by. Dad was the Piper aircraft distributer for central Africa along with the farm and fuel station and auto dealerships and the auto repair shops.

WORK IN YOUR GENIUS

My Father was a genius and I like to think he was my genius. Dad was always dealing with mechanical things in whatever business he started. I only thought of that recently, Diamond drilling machines, auto dealerships, aircraft dealerships, auto body shops, car racing circuit in Africa, the Presidents Aircraft Race across a course in South Africa.

Dad never used a calculator when doing any of the intricate things he accomplished in his busy days. He would invent machines to build auto pistons for his race cars, tally the daily receipts and do a multitude of other things and always calculate in his head without fail.

RECOGNISE THE CHANCE TO CHANGE

To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the Heaven. A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance. (Ecc. 3: 1-4).

The world, but especially Christians, is in a very unique season as times are changing and we are walking with purpose through the Bible in such a time as this. Our spiritual eyes and ears are becoming sensitive to the Holy Spirit as Word revelation is recognized we receive the chance to change to, Glorify, our Heavenly Father.

Our original purpose for being placed here on earth is to save souls; to lead people to God; to teach them how to develop a relationship with their Eternal Father.

Jesus said; “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added.” However, there is one commandment above all commands; “Thou shalt love the Lord Thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it. Thou shalt love they neighbor as thyself.” This is the advice Jesus, himself, gave to us as He knew the end from the beginning.

THINK LIKE A BILLIONAIRE

It is amazing what circumstances can do for a person when those situations burst suddenly into your life. Many people get despondent and simply succumb under the situation. While with others, the circumstances trigger hidden potential within them to survive, and to conquer the problems of life; this is the mind-set of a billionaire.

When my innovative Dad was still a young boy, he would go to the farm next door take the farmer’s eggs and sell them to contribute to the family’s survival. Was it right, no! Was it required for the family to survive, yes; so his young mind thought. This only lasted for a very short while. For when my Grandfather followed him one morning, “the egg salesman was out of work” and things were made right. It was these situations that forced the potential of hard work and development of courage to handle the challenges of life that were fostered early in my Father’s life.
